LAS VEGAS, N.M. — The wife of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama will be in New Mexico on Tuesday.
Michelle Obama has scheduled a rally in Las Vegas' historic Old Town Plaza.
The event opens at 11 a.m., with the program to begin at 12:15 p.m. Obama's campaign says the event is open to the public, and that no tickets are necessary.
The Democratic candidate is to appear tonight at a rally at the University of New Mexico.
Republican rival John McCain was at the state fairgrounds in Albuquerque this morning for a rally before heading to Mesilla for a second New Mexico rally in one day.
