Student profile: Santa Fe High student aims to serve as Army doctor

Miguel Pantano, a senior at Santa Fe High School, has always had a great sense of patriotism — a quality reflected in his choice of extracurricular activities and one that has led him to want to become a doctor for the U.S. Army.

“My first choice of college is West Point, so I can serve my country as an Army doctor and have my schooling paid for. The Army has more opportunities to be a doctor than any other branch,” Pantano said.
