New giant replay board coming to Isotopes Park

The Albuquerque Isotopes announced Wednesday the addition of a new high-definition LED videoboard which will be installed at Isotopes Park in time for opening night on April 11.

Kindness is King

I spent part of Friday over at Carlos Gilbert Elementary School in Santa Fe watching the sixth graders present little skits on kindness, standing up against bullying, and positive role models. It's part of a semester-long "Stand Up For Kindness" movement throughout the district's schools which includes encouraging students in all grades to sign a pledge to be kind.

So much news, so little time

Santa Fe Public Schools is starting a new program to recruit teachers from different backgrounds via an alternative-path of teacher accreditation plan - the school board discussed it Tuesday night. If you're an accountant, plumber (!), actor, or lawyer who wants to teach as a second career and earn lots of money (well, about $30,000 to start), here's a link to my piece in The Santa Fe New Mexican:
