Looking for a movie reminiscent of the last Star Wars and full of fast-paced action through imaginary galaxies filled with weird creatures?

Well, the latest Star Trek movie provides all of those things, filling audiences' imaginations with worlds far, far away and a race against time to save a planet that is our home.

The movie follows a young James Tiberius Kirk (played by Chris Pine), son of the famous Capt. George Kirk (played by Chris Hemsworth), as he enlists in the Star Fleet, where he eventually becomes a captain. James Kirk travels throughout the galaxy trying to foil a plot by the evil Nero to destroy Earth.

Along the way, he is joined by a long list of both past and present Star Trek characters, including a young Spock (played by Zachary Quinto), the elder Spock (played by Leonard Nimoy, the original actor in the TV series), and a young Pavel Chekov (played by Anton Yelchin). The combination of old and new characters provides a movie of unforgettable action.

If you have not seen the movie yet, it is well worth spending a few dollars on a summer evening to experience as it provides face-paced action. And it will also bring back the distant recollections of Star Trek and introduce new viewers to the magic.
