Heroics were singular for the Albuquerque Isotopes on Tuesday, yet multiple Wednesday.
While Valentino Pascucci put the exclamation point on a 2-1 win with a late-inning home run against Memphis on Tuesday, the Isotopes pushed across seven runs in the third to beat the Redbirds 8-1 on Wednesday at AutoZone Park.
The Isotopes (32-34) sent 11 men to the plate in the third.
Jason Repko reached base twice in the inning, and scored the first of the seven runs to break a 1-all tie.
Repko later drove in two runs to cap the rally with a double in his second at-bat of the inning.
Chin-Lung Hu, Juan Gonzalez, Repko and Blake DeWitt each had two hits in the game to pace Albuquerque's 11-hit attack.
The cushion was more than enough for Charlie Haegar (8-4). Haegar went eight innings, scattering three hits and allowing Memphis' only run in the first inning.
Mitchell Boggs (2-3) took the loss, and never made it out of the third for Memphis (31-35).
The 'Topes, who have won four of their last five Pacific Coast League baseball games, return to Isotopes Park in Albuquerque today for the start of an eight-game homestand, beginning with four against Omaha.
