For Anthony Hernandez, Saturday was as easy as one, two, three.

Well, one inning was.

Hernandez, the third baseman for the Santa Fe Brewers, was the catalyst behind his team's fourth-inning triple play during the Sandy Koufax Division of the AABC State Tournament at Fort Marcy Ballpark.

Hernandez gloved a line drive for one out, stepped on third base for the second out and threw to first base to complete the first triple play of the season for the Brewers, who went on to defeat the Santa Fe Sliders, 11-2.

The Brewers are managed by Pete Herrera, who ironically, recorded a triple play during his playing days.

The Sandy Koufax division is for 13-year-olds and 14-year-olds.
