Mesa Vista swept aside Monte del Sol 25-18, 25-17, 25-11 in nondistrict volleyball Monday.

Briana Thomas finished with two kills, for blocks and five digs for Monte del Sol (0-3). Teammate Rachel Franklin finished with one kill, one block and two digs. Franklin also served six aces.

Mesa Vista (3-4) owns two wins over Monte del Sol.
