Four outs from a third straight victory, the Albuquerque Isotopes were defeated 6-3 by the Memphis Redbirds in Pacific Coast League baseball Monday night at AutoZone Park.

Albuquerque took a 3-1 lead into the bottom of the eight. Before the Isotopes retired the Redbirds, the hosts scored five runs with two outs. Khalil Greene had a two-run double and Matt Pagnozzi had a two-run single in the rally.

Albuquerque reliever Henry Bonilla, who entered with two outs and one on in the eighth, allowed three hits and three runs without registering an out. It was the second blown save of the season for Bonilla (2-5), who also took the loss.

Royce Ring earned the win. Ring (3-0) pitched the top of the eighth, retiring the Isotopes in order. Jess Todd worked a scoreless ninth to notch his 12th save and end the Redbirds' season-worst, six-game losing streak.

Albuquerque (30-34) arrived in Memphis (31-33) after winning the final two games in Round Rock. The teams play the second of their three-game series tonight.
