SOFTBALL: LAS VEGAS ROBERTSON AT SANTA FE INDIAN SCHOOL

Today, 4 p.m.

To the victor goes the District 2AAA title?

Most likely.

The winner does own the tiebreaker when it comes to head-to-head.

That's because the Lady Braves of Santa Fe Indian School and the Lady Cardinals of Las Vegas Robertson a split a doubleheader.

Though both teams can hit, it still could come down to a pitching duel between
April Abeyta of Santa Fe Indian School and Faith Gallegos of Robertson.

When they are on, they are two of the best in the district, if not the entire state.

So a run here, a run there could be the difference.

Both are shoo-ins for the state tournament.

Still, the district champion will get the higher seed.
