Santafenewmexican.com's new Indian Market microsite serves as a new hub for Indian Market content as thousands visit Santa Fe this week for the annual event.

The site includes content from both the daily New Mexican and Indian Market magazines while placing an emphasis on user participation.

Site users can send in their own photos for inclusion in the site's photo area, which highlights the work of our own photography department from this and prior years.

We also feature a daily events calendar and links to maps published in the magazine.

We've also established a twitter account for the occasion and have already drummed up nearly 100 followers. Especially exciting is that our sales staff will be contributing to the new account.

The staff had a twitter 101 session during its weekly meeting and have been practicing the craft of tweeting since. Congratulate a staff member when you see them.

If you're more the Facebook fan, visit the microsite's chat section which lets folks use their facebook accounts to share their Indian Market experience.

We'll continue refining the site during coming days, feel free to visit and share.

Thanks

Henry M. Lopez
