Santa Fe Animal Shelter & Humane Society: Shiloh, an 18-month-old dachshund-Australian cattle dog, is friendly and playful. He gets along well with other dogs and is always the first to greet you at the shelter. Jenny, a 2-year-old calico cat, is a joy to be around. She is easy to handle and loves to play with cat toys.
These and other animals are available for adoption from the shelter at 100 Caja del Rio Road. The shelter's hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from

Española Valley Humane Society: Raspberry, a 6-month-old heeler mix, has a great temperment and is adjusting well considering her surroundings. Lola, a Catahoula mix about 18 months old, loves attention and has a great disposition.
These and other animals are available for adoption at the shelter, 108 Hamm Parkway. The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 4:45 p.m. Sunday. Felines & Friends: Tameka, a sweet and playful tabby, was rescued from an industrial park. Sherry, a beautiful girl with classic gray tabby markings, and her brother were rescued near the Santa Fe Rodeo. She's social and loves to be held.
