The Santa Fe city police are investigating the following reports:

  • A woman in the 6600 block of Jaguar Drive told police at 9 p.m. Wednesday that her teenage daughter had run away with her boyfriend.
  • A man was found dead at his home in the 100 block of Galisteo Lane about 6:30 a.m. Thursday by his ex-wife. The man was ill, and death is thought to be from natural causes.
  • Power tools were stolen from a work trailer parked in the 900 block of Vista Jemez between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.
  • A neighbor found an 84-year-old woman dead at her residence in the 3100 block of Avenida Codorniz at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday.
  • Christopher Sanchez, 4201 Airport Road, was arrested in the 4300 block of N.M. 14 at 2:16 a.m. Thursday on an outstanding warrant charging larceny and assault. The district judge who issued the warrant ordered that no bond be set on Sanchez.
  • Bernadine Archuleta, 1400B Agua Fría St., was arrested at her home at 4:33 a.m. Thursday on a warrant charging burglary, larceny, concealing identity and attempting to commit a felony at her home. The district judge who issued the warrant set a bond of $5,000 cash.
  • A security guard at The Lodge at Santa Fe, 750 N. St. Francis Drive, reported that at 2:16 a.m. Thursday a man at the hotel bar lifted his shirt to show a pistol in his belt and asked, "Do you have a problem?" The guard said he responded, "No problem," and escorted the man out of the bar and to the parking lot where he got into a maroon Suburu and left.
  • Someone broke into an apartment in the 6600 block of Jaguar Drive between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday.
  • Someone broke into a 1981 Acura parked at Santa Fe Place mall, 4250 Cerrillos Road, between 2:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. Tuesday and stole the vehicle's title and a Federal Express package.
  • A 16-month-old girl was found dead by her father at their home in the 1700 block of Callejon Veronica on Wednesday. The girl "has a vast medical history which she was born into," police wrote.
  • A vehicle that had been reported stolen earlier was recovered about noon Tuesday in the 1300 block of Maez Road by family members of the person who owns the car. According to the police report, "a male and female (were) in possession of the vehicle."

Santa Fe County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the following reports:

  • Jose Saldana-Levario, 39, of Santa Fe was arrested on a charge of battery against a household member after his girlfriend said he slapped her on the face and pushed her down onto the bed during an argument about 7 a.m. Thursday.
  • David Garcia, 27, of Santa Fe was arrested on charges of aggravated drunken driving and resisting arrest after a deputy began chasing his vehicle when Garcia allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign at Agua Fría Road and the San Isidro crossing and then fled on foot.
  • A resident on Crazy Rabbit Road reported someone came into her residence while she was out about 9 p.m. Wednesday and stole cash from a black wallet in her home. There were no signs of forced entry.
  • A snowboard was stolen from Ski Santa Fe on Thursday while the owner was eating lunch.
  • Fernando Martinez-Solano, 29, was arrested on a charge of battery against a household member Thursday after deputies responded to a report of a domestic abuse on Erica Road.
  • Roberta Trujillo, 34, of La Puebla was arrested on charges of drunken driving, careless driving and driving with a revoked license following a single-vehicle accident at Santa Fe County Road 88 and Lower Firehouse Road in La Puebla at 1:38 a.m. Thursday. Deputies said she had four prior DWIs.
  • Delfino Garcia, 30, was arrested on a charge of drunken driving, speeding, having no proof of financial responsibility, having no driver's license, resisting arrest and having an outstanding warrant charging he had failed to comply with the conditions of parole on a previous charge. Garcia was stopped about 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lopez Lane and Rufina Street.
