The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:

• A man reported Saturday his ex-girlfriend assaulted him at her residence in the Casitas Mobile Home Park. He said she invited him to drink beer, and after several hours of consuming alcohol, she asked if he was seeing another woman. He said he was, and she grabbed a full bottle of beer and struck him in the right eye, causing swelling and bruising. He was transported to Christus St. Vincent's Regional Medical Center to be checked. The investigation is ongoing.

• A woman reported Sunday her purse was stolen overnight from vehicle on Placita Real Loop. The purse contained her driver's license, credit cards and a gold necklace.

• A 72-year-old woman died Saturday at a Cibola Circle home. No foul play was reported.

• Regina Cata, 42, no address provided, was arrested Saturday in the 4100 block of Agua Fría Road on a charge of assault on a peace officer. A deputy responded to a burglary report, and Cata brandished a folding knife and pointed it at the deputy, who disarmed and arrested Cata. Further details weren't available Sunday.
