The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
• The Cricket Wireless store, 1965 Cerrillos Road, was robbed around 5 p.m. Friday by an unidentified man who fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. The man drove away in a white 1995 Dodge Ram with New Mexico license plates.
• Someone stole the license plates from a vehicle parked in the 6300 block of Entrada de Milagro on Saturday evening. The license plate is LYL608.
• A painting, jewelry and $900 were taken from a home in the 900 block of Camino Santander sometime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday. The victim said the thief broke a window to enter the home.
• Leopoldo Maez Jr., 1299 Vegas Verdes #69, was arrested Saturday night on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a revoked driver's license. Maez was arrested after a traffic stop off Cerrillos Road and Vegas Verdes.
• Someone broke into a home that was being remodeled in the 1400 block of Agua Fría and took several items, including a glass door. The incident occurred sometime between 7 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday.
• A burglar got away with $250 in a wallet left inside a vehicle in the 2000 block of Calle Contento. The burglary happened sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
• Three people broke into Sunglass Hut, 8380 Cerrillos Road, suite 212, around 4 p.m. Sunday and stole about $1,838 worth of sunglasses. The suspects are two males with tattoos on their necks; one wore a black Steelers pullover sweater and a second one with an orange and black checkered shirt. The third suspect was a female with a pink scarf wrapped around her head.
• Someone stole a silver Toyota Corolla, license plate 613PNC, sometime between Friday night and Sunday evening. The vehicle was parked in the 3000 Payupki Circle.
• Someone broke into a home in the 700 block of Columbia Street by forcing open a back door. A television, a DVD player, a flat-screen television, an iPhone and jewelry were taken.
• Someone broke into a vehicle and took a purse. The car was parked in the 500 block of Cordova Road.
• Alicia Verdugo-Spencer, 1899 Pachecho St., Apt. 2110, was arrested Sunday morning at her home on charges of possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct.
• A bag with gloves and hats was taken from a vehicle parked at Frank S. Ortiz Park, 160 Camino de las Crucitas, sometime between 5:45 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. Sunday.
• Alvaro Valdivia, 5951 Larson Loop, was arrested on charges of aggravated battery on a household member. Valdivia was arrested after officers arrived at the home, where he was having an altercation with his live-in girlfriend. Valdivia placed his girlfriend in a choke hold, causing bruises and knocking off her contact lenses, the police report states.
• Doreen Lovato, 2218 Miguel Chavez Road #702, was arrested and charged with two counts of abuse of a child and possession of drug paraphernalia. A domestic call led officers to the home, where they found Lovato.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:
• Someone broke into a home in the Country Club Gardens Mobile Home Park off Airport Road sometime Sunday afternoon and stole gold and silver woman's jewelry, various electronics that included DVDs, an X-Box and its games and a Nintendo Wii and its games. The burglar also took dog clothing and other items valued at more than $5,400.
• A 32-inch Vizio flat screen television, a PS3 game console and its gun, wand and remote controls and 15 to 20 DVDs and movies were stolen from a home off Cerro Circle in the Eldorado area. The victim said she sent an acquaintance to pick up his belongings on Sunday afternoon and instead of picking up his personal belongings, the acquaintance ran off with the mentioned items. Sheriff deputies are investigating the case.
DWI arrests
• Lois Gray, 46 Monte Alto, age not given, was arrested Sunday around 2 p.m. on charges of DWI and of following a vehicle too closely. Gray was involved in a traffic collision and was unable to complete standard field sobriety tests on the scene, the police report indicates. She was transported to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center for medical clearance and a blood draw. She was booked into Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
• Dianna L. Shriver, 172 Sunflower Drive, was arrested on charges of aggravated DWI. Shriver was arrested at 199 Paseo de Peralta around 8 p.m. Sunday.
• Aaron Jones, 4762 Morning Street, was arrested on charges of DWI. Jones was stopped between Lucia Lane and Airport Road for not having a license plate light.
Speed SUVs
• The Santa Fe Police Department listed the following locations for mobile speed-enforcement vehicles: SUV No. 1 at E.J. Martinez Elementary from 7:25 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. and 2:10 p.m. to 2:55 p.m. and on West San Mateo Road between Galisteo Street and St. Francis Drive at other times; SUV No. 2 at Don Gaspar Avenue between Cordova Road and San Mateo Road.
