These and other animals are available for adoption at the shelter, 108 Hamm Parkway. The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 4:45 p.m. Sunday. The shelter has a low-cost spay and neuter clinic. Call 505-753-8662. Visit the Web site at www.espanolashelter.org.
Felines & Friends: Leonardo, and Gabriel, were rescued in the Glorieta area. Laid-back and mellow, Leonardo is a real angel who loves to be hugged. He would do well in a home with another mellow cat. Sweet and playful Gabriel is an outgoing kitty who loves to rub against a person's legs. He's a handsome boy with a short, classic buff tabby coat.
Cats of all ages are available for adoption from Felines & Friends at Petco from 1 to 4 p.m. every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Visit the Web site at www.petfinder.com/shelters/NM38.html or call 316-CAT1.
