The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
Officers arrested Jose Ramos, 20, 1439 Zepol Road, on Thursday and charged him with distribution of marijuana and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Officers found marijuana in his truck, including four and a half bricks, as well as more of the drug in a trash bag and a grocery bag.
Two jackets were stolen between Friday and Monday from a Santa Fe police car parked at the Southside Library in the 6500 block of Jaguar Drive.
Police arrested Jennifer Nieto, 27, 1703 Quapaw St., on Sunday and charged her with child abuse.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:
Two cell phones, a digital camera, a wallet, credit cards and a diaper bag were stolen Sunday from a residence on Corte Corazon.
Deputies arrested Richard Reynolds, 43, of Santa Fe on Saturday and charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Unspecified items were stolen Sunday from a residence on N.M. 472 in Stanley.
DWI arrests
Deputies arrested Luis Diaz-Castillo, 26, of Española; Edgar Chavez, 26, of Santa Fe; Augustine Mares, 27, of Moriarty; Hilario Sisneros-Duran, 30, of Santa Fe; Francisco Hernandez, 25, of Santa Fe; and Jesus Ornelas, 29, of Santa Fe on Sunday. A deputy saw Diaz-Castillo throw out a beer can near the intersection of Los Pinos Road and Santa Fe County Road 56 and pulled him over. When the deputy searched the car, he found several open beer cans, a large bindle of cocaine, a small amount of marijuana, two pipes and an empty beer can that had been used to cook cocaine and baking soda. All in the car were charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of burglary tools. Diaz-Castillo also was charged with driving while intoxicated, no license, having an open container of alcohol in his car and littering.
Deputies arrested Rudy Sena, 74, address unavailable, on Sunday and charged him with DWI.
City police arrested Angel Trejo, 47, 12A Velarde St., on Friday and charged him with DWI, having an open container of alcohol in his car, no license and concealing identity. Trejo has been arrested six prior times for DWI.
