The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
• A man in a black, hooded sweat shirt and jeans tried to break out a window to an apartment at 6332 Entrada de Milagro about 11 a.m. Saturday, then fled west on Paseo del Sol.
• A laptop and a Global Positioning System were stolen Thursday from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 500 block of South Guadalupe Street.
• Scott Heuer, who gave addresses at 311 Pine St. in Chama and 289 Calle Loma Norte in Santa Fe, was arrested in the 1500 block of St. Michael's Drive at 3:55 p.m. Friday on charges of stealing a 2007 Toyota truck and damaging it.
• Two vehicles were burglarized sometime before 10:30 p.m. Thursday while parked in the 1100 block of Luna Circle South. A camera was taken from one of them.
• A 2001 Honda was burglarized while parked at Mail Call, 551 W. Cordova Road, about 6 p.m. Friday.
• A man knocked on the door of an apartment in the 800 block of Agua Fría Street at 6:16 p.m. Friday and asked to use the phone. The resident closed the door while he went to get a phone. When he opened the door again, the report said, the stranger pulled a handgun and said, "Get down." The resident slammed the door while his wife called police, but the assailant fled.
• A pair of glasses were stolen from a 2008 Lexus parked at 1201 Cerrillos Road at 5:30 p.m. Friday after someone broke the vehicle's right front window.
• A 2001 Honda was burglarized about 9 p.m. Friday while parked in the 4100 block of South Meadows Road.
• A woman reported Friday that a gold and silver bracelet with a small stone was stolen from her home in the 1900 block of Calle Miguela sometime in the past week.
• Andrea L. Chavez, 928 Rio Vista St., was arrested on a charge of acquiring a controlled substance by fraud after she was accused of altering a physician's prescription to obtain Percocet about 2:40 p.m. Friday at the Walgreen's pharmacy at 3298 Cerrillos Road.
• A student at Kearny Elementary School was arrested for possession of a small bag of marijuana at 12:20 p.m. Friday.
• A cellular phone was stolen from a 2005 Subaru parked in the 200 block of Alamo Drive between 4:30 p.m. Thursday and 7:20 a.m. Friday.
• A remote-control garage-door opener was stolen from a 2000 Volkswagen parked in the 1100 block of Luna Circle South between 7:30 p.m. Thursday and noon Friday.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:
• A man speeding in a vehicle on Camino Cerrado in Pojoaque on Saturday reportedly pointed a rifle at a woman who honked at him after he stopped in the middle of the roadway.
• An electronic game was stolen from a residence on Horizon Lane on Saturday.
• Someone broke into a truck and stole equipment near the corner of Crouch Court and Airport Road between 5 p.m. Oct. 28 and 8 a.m. Oct. 29.
• A motor vehicle was stolen from its parking place near the intersection of Camino de Fabian and County Road 84 between 8:30 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
• Edwin Noisecat, 50, 62 Coyote Crossing, was arrested on a charge of battery against a household member at 9:52 p.m. Saturday.
DWI arrests
• Jorge Vega, Apartment H-372, 2001 Hopewell St., was arrested after he was stopped about 10:10 p.m. Friday for allegedly having no license plate in the 1600 block of Llano Street and was found to be the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant charging he hadn't complied with court orders from an aggravated drunken driving case.
• Police responding to an incident in the 3200 block of Cerrillos Road arrested Eric W. Stephenson, 2508 Lopez Lane, about 4 p.m. Friday on an outstanding warrant charging he had not complied with court orders related to a charge of aggravated drunken driving.
