The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
• A 42-inch television, a bicycle and front- and back-door keys to the home were stolen between July 16 and Tuesday from a residence in the 400 block of West San Francisco Street.
u Three video game systems and a laptop computer were stolen Wednesday from a residence in the 4200 block of Howling Wolf.
• A television and two 3-month-old French poodles were stolen Wednesday from the 1200 block of Gallegos Lane.
• Veterinary equipment was stolen June 25 from an office in the 900 block of West San Mateo Road.
• A computer and a digital camera were stolen Tuesday from a residence in the 100 block of Sam Street.
• Scrap copper and metal racks used for steel storage were stolen between July 16 and Monday from Capital Scrap Metal, 1600 Lena St.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:
• A 41-year-old man was found dead Thursday at the Santa Fe Recovery Center. No signs of foul play were reported.
• Deputies arrested Michael Barela, 57, of Santa Fe on Wednesday and charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
DWI arrests
• Deputies arrested Robert Romero, 45, address unavailable, on Thursday and charged him with driving while intoxicated.
• Deputies arrested Melissa Rivera, 33, address unavailable, on Wednesday and charged her with DWI, careless driving and driving with a suspended license.
• City officers arrested Pawel Toczek, 28, of Highland Ranch, Colo. on Thursday and charged him with aggravated DWI and running a red light.
