The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
• A man reported that his girlfriend struck him on the face with an unspecified object and made his nose bleed around 10 p.m. Friday. The incident happened in the 3200 block of El Trebol Court. The woman, who apparently fled the home on foot with her two children, was not found by police.
• Francisco Fonseca of Santa Fe was arrested Saturday in the 8300 block of Cerrillos Road on charges of aggravated assault, intent to commit a violent felony, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, shooting at or from a vehicle and tampering with evidence. Fonseca was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol. No further details were available.
• A man reported that an unknown person or persons broke two windows of his white 2002 Toyota Tundra and took unspecified items. The incident occurred sometime between midnight and 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the 600 block of Salazar Street.
• Two people reported that an unknown person or persons entered their residence in the 900 block of Stage Coach Drive between 8:25 and 11:40 a.m. Friday and stole several unspecified items.
• An unknown person or persons used a screwdriver-like object to pry, shatter and break the right rear passenger window of a 2007 silver Toyota Sequoia and stole a purse. The incident occurred between 12:30 and 12:45 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of East Barcelona.
• Someone broke into an apartment between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of Hopewell Street and stole a Vizio LCD television, two pairs of new pants and a cooking pan.
• A credit card was used for $1,500 in fraudulent charges in the DeVargas Center area between Thursday and Saturday.
• Someone used a pellet gun to break three windows and a glass door at Cameron Construction, 1570 Pacheco Street, on Saturday afternoon.
• A woman reported that someone stole her garage door opener from her unlocked vehicle between midnight Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of West Lupita.
• A man reported that between 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday, an unknown person or persons broke into his 2007 GMC Sierra parked in the 1100 block of Avenida Godorniz and stole a Springfield .40 pistol. There were no signs of forced entry.
• A woman reported that unknown person or persons broke into her apartment between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of Maynard Street and stole a Memorex CD with photos and $5,000 worth of jewelry. The burglar or burglars entered the home by cutting into a window screen.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:
• Zack Vigil, 23, of Santa Fe was arrested about 2 a.m. Saturday in the West Cochiti area on charges of battery and assault against a household member. Two people were involved in the incident, but no one was injured. According to a Sheriff's report, Vigil was intoxicated at the time of the incident.
• A woman reported Friday night that her 1-year-old German shepherd, valued at $500, was stolen sometime between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday from her home on Senda Torcida in Santa Fe.
• Sometime between 9 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 a.m. Friday, someone broke into a woman's vehicle parked in the 1700 block of N.M. 502 in Pojoaque. The woman's Coach purse and wallet, with an estimated value of $500, were stolen.
• Someone stole a Santa Fe County woman's Discover credit card between Jan. 22 and Feb. 2 and charged $1,600 at Nieman Marcus in New York and paid $849 worth of New York utilities. Four other transactions were attempted but declined.
DWI arrest
• Jessica A. Perea, 34, of Santa Fe was arrested around 3 a.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of Cerrillos Road on charges of driving under the influence and careless driving. Perea was driving southbound on Cerrillos Road when she almost struck a police car, according to a police report. Two breath alcohol tests showed levels above the legal limit of 0.08, which led police to seize her vehicle.
