The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
• Someone stole a dishwasher Tuesday or Wednesday from a trailer in the 1200 block of Zepol Road.
• Two televisions were hauled off Monday or Tuesday from a residence in the 300 block of Delgado Street.
• Police arrested Edward Padilla, age unavailable, of Española on Tuesday and charged him with driving with a revoked license.
• Officers arrested Charles Martinez, 30, 2813 La Junta, on Tuesday and charged him with battery on a household member and battery on a police officer.
• A thief took a television and jewelry Tuesday from a guest house in the 800 block of Gonzales Road.
• A computer was among the items stolen Tuesday from a residence in the 4300 block of Laughing Crow.
DWI arrests
• State police officers arrested Paul Ortiz, 52, 39 Cañada Village Road, on Saturday and charged him with felony driving while intoxicated and having an open container of alcohol in his car. Callers reported to dispatchers that Ortiz's vehicle was swerving "all over" Interstate 25. Ortiz then was involved in a hit-and-run crash at St. Francis Drive and Zia Road, according to the report. When an officer pulled him over, Ortiz, who admitted to drinking two beers, smelled of alcohol and forgot to remove his seat belt before trying to get out of his truck. He has three DWI convictions on his record, according to the report.
• State police officers arrested Lazaro Palma Jr., 38, 4551 Paseo del Sol, on Friday and charged him with DWI, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving with a suspended or revoked license. A report said Palma admitted to drinking "a few beers." The officer also found 7.9 grams of cocaine in 10 separate plastic baggies, 2.5 grams of marijuana and $244 in cash in the center console of Palma's car after arresting him, the report said.
• City police officers arrested Israel Pruett, 26, 2941 Viaje Pavo Road, on Wednesday and charged him with aggravated DWI, speeding, running a red light and no license. Pruett's breath alcohol content was reported as .21.
• City police officers arrested Ernest Salazar, 43, 3313 Camino Prado Vista, on Tuesday and charged him with DWI, resisting arrest, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.
