The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
  • Officers arrested Brian Harvey, 19, 3501 Rufina St., on Tuesday and charged him with reckless driving, driving with a revoked license and possession of marijuana.
  • Police arrested John Vigil, 43, of Rio Rancho on Monday and charged him with two counts of intent to commit a violent felony on a police officer, aggravated battery on a police officer, assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct and three counts of resisting arrest. Police also arrested Regina Brooks, 43, 814 Alarid St., and charged her with attempt to commit a violent felony on a police officer, battery on a police officer and resisting arrest.
DWI arrests
  • Deputies arrested Tommy Herburger, 31, 2410 Calle Eloisa, on Tuesday and charged him with aggravated driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain a traffic lane and no insurance. His breath alcohol content was 0.18, more than double the legal driving limit.
  • City officers arrested Kara Clem, 25, 700 Camino Cabra, on Tuesday and charged her with DWI and speeding. Clem's breath alcohol content was 0.15.

Today's location of the Santa Fe Police Department's mobile speed enforcement vehicle:
  • From 7:25 to 8:15 a.m. and From 2:10 to 2:55 p.m.: Gonzales Community School. When not parked at the school, the vehicle will be parked on West Alameda and Cedar streets.
