This week the stars want us to consider the difference between what we intuit or dream and the illusions that trap us. Mercury, the planet of communications, finishes a square with inspirational, intuitive Neptune and shifts into its own sign of verbal Gemini just as the sun, already in Gemini, forms a supportive trine to expansive Jupiter and Neptune.

This mercurial Gemini energy is light, nervy, witty, and articulate; the challenge is to keep mind and heart connected. Beneath the Gemini buzz is the solid, practical support of Venus and Mars as they conjunct in earthy Taurus — a romantic, sensual, adhesive combination that asks us to enjoy summer's tactile glory.

Venus and Mars symbolize emotional life, amping up feelings as they run together from mid-April through mid-July. They are generally friendly and auspicious, but treat lust and possessiveness carefully. The stubborn, possessive qualities of Taurus make it a hard time to break up or quit a job. Although most difficulties smooth out if we keep talking, take extra care and patience if a separation is needed.

This connectivity works well when we agree on goals; it can put drive in our creativity and snuggle in our romance. Where we disagree on goals, we become entrenched. And jealousy jerks our chain as this flirty Gemini vibe makes us curious about conversation elsewhere in the room.

The weekend begins light and sociable with a nervous buzz; there's news, but truth needs sorting from fiction. Cross-pollinate now and reconnect with loved ones Sunday and into next week when a Pisces moon inspires sensitivity. A challenging aspect between Mars and Uranus brings out a difficult, independent, and potentially accident-prone streak. Give people space if needed. Midweek brings new contacts and possibilities as the sun and Venus square Uranus. If we're restless, let's explore without burning bridges.

Friday, June 12: Socializing now saves time later. Few want to get too deep or personal; we'd rather sketch the big picture under an Aquarian moon. There is camaraderie tonight.

Saturday, June 13: Edges get vague as the moon conjuncts Jupiter and Neptune before entering Pisces. We might feel awash or swampy or have to fix leaks. Permeability helps meditation, prayer, artwork, or music. Watch for communications glitches midday as the moon squares Mercury.

Sunday, June 14:
Nervous buzz inspires great conversations as Mercury enters talkative Gemini. Midday, talk over a recent conflict; the kinder we are, the further we get. As the moon opposes Saturn tonight, worries mount but may be more imagined than real.

Monday, June 15:
The emotional landscape shifts, but reach for the steadiness beneath. Recent expansion or escape plans might be temporarily delayed as Jupiter retrogrades. Unexpected snafus take patience and adaptability midday. Later, thoughts can get sad or dark as Mercury challenges Pluto, but we can unearth clues.

Tuesday, June 16:
Energy, attitude, and mischief pick up; so does resistance as the moon enters rebellious Aries and Mars challenges Uranus. Stay clear or risk tripping over the rake, wrestling with machines, or getting into an argument that each will think the other started.

Wednesday, June 17: Today, there is a possible turning point. Let go of a comfortable but limiting aspect of the past. Midday, there may be reversals of recent decisions as the sun and Venus challenge unexpected Uranus. Channel restlessness with attention to consequences.

Thursday, June 18: There are friendly but stubborn vibes as the moon enters cozy, stable Taurus. We slow down and get into our bodies and our gardens. Speaking up about a difficult subject gets easier as momentum builds.
