After months of planning, development and plenty of restless nights, The Santa Fe New Mexican is proud to unveil its newly re-designed Web site.
We expect readers to be able to better find the news and information they most want while providing an improved platform for The New Mexican to deliver that news and information.
We've simplified our navigation to more clearly present what's new now and how items relate to one another.
Atop the home page, you'll find top local, national and world stories along with the latest headlines from across the news spectrum on the right.
You can expect to find early, mid-day and evening updates.
We've introduced an interactive calendar to find what's to do in Santa Fe. Readers can submit their own listings to the calendar directly. Editors will look over the submissions and in many cases include the submission in our print edition as well.
The popular story-commenting feature has been included in this redesign as well.
We want you become familiar with the vast array of work we produce at The New Mexican, so at the bottom of the home page you'll find features that shift daily to give you more of what's new to enjoy.
We'll be adding more features to the site on a fairly regular basis during the coming weeks and months. And we want you to be involved with that by suggesting what you'd like to see and use at SantaFeNewMexican.com.
Another way you can help is by letting us know about your experiences using the Web site. We've been eliminating bugs from the system for weeks. And, we've addressed the big ones and most of the small ones.. But with more eyes on the site, we're looking for your help to locate anything we've missed.
