Theater gave Argos MacCallum a purpose. In return, he uses the art form — to which he was introduced as a young boy — to preserve culture, tradition, and language via Teatro Paraguas, a bilingual ensemble that presented six productions in 2007 (on a total budget of $20,000). Born in Ithaca, New York, MacCallum has lived in New Mexico since he was 5.
