Voters in the city of Santa Fe today will select a mayor and two city councilors during polling that lasts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
While eight candidates are competing for those three jobs, another pair of incumbent councilors face no opposition.
The city plans live television coverage of election results beginning at 7:30 p.m. on SFGTV cable Channel 28. The show also will be available online at the city's Web site, www.santafenm.gov. Click on "SFGTV 28 Webcast" on the upper left corner of the homepage.
Unofficial election results from those among the city's 46,985 registered voters who cast ballots will also be updated regularly and posted on the Web site as workers compile vote tallies tonight.
City staff will be available to answer questions or provide additional information at the City Clerk's Office, 200 Lincoln Ave., or by phone all day today at 955-6326, 955-6519, 955-6520 or 955-6521.
