The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
• Someone broke into a Cadillac Escalade between 11:50 a.m. and 1:01 p.m. Saturday by smashing a window and stole a purse containing cash and credit cards.
• Nicole Romero, 28, 1287 Calle Corazzi, was arrested at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday on Rodeo Road on charges of concealing identity, driving on a suspended license, no insurance and no registration. Police say she gave an officer her sister's name before it was learned she faced a state District Court warrant for a burglary charge and a Magistrate Court warrant for a domestic violence charge.
• Someone threw a rock through a window of a vehicle in the 1000 block of St. Michael's Drive at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday and stole a leather handbag.
• A Ford Escape hybrid was reported stolen about 4:30 a.m. Sunday from the 1300 block of Declovina Street, but it was later recovered.
• A woman reported her roommate stole $2,050 in jewelry and $196 cash from her at their residence in the 3000 block of Cerrillos Road between 9:15 a.m. and 7 p.m. Friday.
• Eddie Medrano, 45, 2511 Rancho Siringo Road, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Allsup's, 3000 Cerrillos Road, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Police reported finding him with a prescription bottle that contained three Clonazepam pills but another person's name on the label. The drug is used to treat seizures and panic disorder, according to drugs.com.
• A resident in the 600 block of Alto Street reported that someone stole a $4,200 bronze, 15-inch statue of a nude woman and two paintings, one of a horse and the other of various animals, between Nov. 6 and Saturday.
