The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
A laptop computer was stolen Wednesday from a residence in the 500 block of West San Francisco Street.
A Santa Fe woman reported that two females driving a black Pontiac Grand Prix with New Mexico license plate JHS-726 attacked her at the corner of La Cieneguita and Agua Fría Street on Wednesday. The women stole jewelry from the victim and tried to carjack her vehicle.
An unknown person kicked open the front door to a residence in the 1200 block of Vegas Verdes Drive and stole a computer, a video game system and other unspecified items.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:
A pit bull puppy, a pit bull adult female and a gold/diamond engagement set were stolen between July and Wednesday from a residence on Camino del Pastorez.
A Nintendo Wii system was stolen Wednesday from a residence on Arroyo Jaconita.
Deputies arrested Joaquin Montoya, 67, 131 Los Pinos Road, on Oct. 7 and charged him with failure to register as a sex offender.
