The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
• A burglar attempted to enter a residence in the 100 block of Siringo Road on Thursday by breaking the screen on a back window.
• A man getting out of his vehicle and into a wheelchair in Rodeo Plaza at 2201 Rodeo Road on Thursday was robbed of $350, credit cards and miscellaneous items in a fanny pack. The robber was a male and appeared to be in his 30s.
• An iPod was stolen Thursday from a 2009 Toyota Corolla parked in the 500 block of Montezuma Street.
• Several items of jewelry were stolen Thursday from a residence in the 2100 block of Rancho Siringo Street.
• A handbag and $40 were stolen Thursday from a motor vehicle parked in the 1300 block of Visa Street.
• A cell phone and a GPS system were taken Thursday from a vehicle parked in the 400 block of San Francisco Street.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:
• A man told deputies that he was caught up in a scam over the sale of a $14,000 item on eBay.
• Daniel Maes, 26, no address given, was arrested Thursday on charges of battery against a household member.
• Metal fencing and a horse feeder were stolen Thursday from a corral near Cross Ranch Road in Stanley.
• Joe Emerson, 59, no age given, was arrested Thursday on charges of battery against two household members in connection with disputes at a residence on N.M. 76 in Santa Cruz.
• Amanda Ahumada, 20, and Gabriel E. Valenzuela, 20, both of Santa Fe were arrested on several charges Thursday in connection with arguments at a residence in the 100 block of Berrendo Road. Ahumada was charged with battery of a household member, and buying and selling or giving alcohol to a minor. Valenzuela faces charges of criminal trespass and buying and selling or giving alcohol to a minor.
• Three flat-screen TVs with a total value of $4,120 and various items of jewelry were stolen Thursday from a residence on Sueno De Vigil near Española. A kitchen window was forced open.
• A credit card was stolen Aug. 15 from a woman's purse at a wedding, and several charges had been made on the card.
