The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:

• Police recovered a stolen 2008 Chevrolet Malibu after an officer stopped the driver in traffic at South Guadalupe and Garcia streets at 1:45 a.m. Saturday.

• A woman reported three tires were slashed and scratches were dug into several parts of her 2001 Toyota 4-Runner while it was parked in the 300 block of West San Francisco Street on Saturday.

• A woman in the 200 block of Camino Alire reported around 4:15 p.m. Friday that another woman threatened to stab her.

• Police arrested Carlos Ortega, 23, 620 A Calle Ranchitos, Española, on charges of aggravated battery and fleeing an officer after he punched a man in the face, then fled when an officer ordered him to stop in the 100 block of West Palace Avenue.

• A woman in the 2500 block of Zia Road reported around 6:25 p.m. Friday that someone was using her name and Social Security number for employment in Bethlehem, Ga.

• Police arrested Rosindo Martinez-Agosta, 40, 715 Taos St., on charges of battery against a police officer, resisting arrest and concealing identity in the 2700 block of Cerrillos Road around 12:08 a.m. Saturday after he was found walking in traffic on Cerrillos Road at Camino Carlos Rey.

• A man reported several other men tried to attack him and enter his home in the 1700 block of Mann Street around 3:49 a.m. Saturday. The men fled in the back of a white truck.

• A woman reported someone stole her wallet from her purse, which was under a counter at the place she worked in the 100 block of Washington Street between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday.

• A man in the 900 block of Alarid Street reported someone broke a window on his Toyota Tacoma and stole a compact disc player.

• A man reported at 3:30 p.m. Friday someone broke into his storage unit at A-1 Storage on San Mateo and stole a computer, printer, turntable, CDs, disc-jockey equipment and a guitar.

• A man reported that around 9 a.m. Friday someone stole a black, 2007 Towmaster trailer from his business in the 1300 block of Vegas Verdes.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigation the following report:

• Deputies arrested Eugene Sargent, 41, 2813 La Junta, on a felony charge of driving while intoxicated after he was found passed out in a 2004 BMW near Paseo Rael and Huey Road.
