The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
  • A 17-year-old boy was arrested on a charge of possessing burglary tools, resisting arrest and trespassing after he entered a fenced, gated property in the 1900 block of Siringo Road and "acted suspicious to the homeowner who confronted" the boy shortly after midnight Sunday.
  • A camera, an iPod and a radar detector were stolen by two men who broke into a 2005 Toyota parked in the 100 block of Duran Street about 9:50 p.m. Saturday.
  • Michael Espinosa, 4650 Airport Road No. 205, was arrested on charges of aggravated battery, resisting arrest and criminal damage to property at 9:56 p.m. Saturday after police responded to a report of a fight in the 3400 block of Cerrillos Road. A baseball bat had been used to break out the window of a vehicle, according to the report.
  • A man taken to the hospital early Sunday said five or six unknown men attacked him about 11 a.m. Friday and one of them hit him in the face with a firearm in the 2000 block of St. Michael's Drive.
  • Two vehicles were burglarized while parked at 4450 Rodeo Road between 5:45 and 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Two men, one about 40 and the other about 18, were seen in the area in a small, white car with a black front bumper, according to observers.
  • A purse was stolen from a car parked at Pizza Hut, 4250 Cerrillos Road, between 6:15 and 6:47 p.m. Sunday. A white car with a black front bumper was seen leaving the area.
  • A duffle bag full of clothes and a tool box full of tools were stolen from a 2004 Toyota from Nantucket, Mass., parked in the 700 block of Gomez Road between 2 and 8 a.m. Sunday.
  • Someone tried to use an automated teller card shortly after it was stolen from a vehicle parked at Target, 3550 Zafarano Drive, between 2:45 and 5 p.m. Sunday.
  • A radar detector was stolen from a 2000 Acura parked at 4298 Cerrillos Road between 9:30 p.m. Friday and 6:15 a.m. Sunday.
  • Someone broke a back window of a residence in the 6800 block of Sunset Circle between Nov. 4 and Sunday and stole various items.
  • A briefcase with credit cards was stolen from a 2002 Ford parked in the 1200 block of Don Gaspar Avenue between 9:50 a.m. and 12:18 p.m. Sunday.
  • Someone broke the window of a 2001 Subaru parked at 3011 Cerrillos Road between 10:30 p.m. Thursday and 11:45 a.m. Friday and damaged the center console.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:
  • Several vehicles, including a Santa Fe County Sheriff's unit, were burglarized while parked in the Las Lagunitas subdivision in La Cienega between 11:30 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday. There were no signs of forced entry.
  • Groundskeepers near the corner of Tano Pointe Lane and Tano Road confronted a man walking from behind one of the houses on Monday. At first, he said he was a plumber looking for an address, then he took off running, got into a black vehicle and fled the area. The groundskeepers later discovered the residence had been burglarized.
  • Electronics, firearms, jewelry and currency were stolen from a residence on Bar Four Road in Española on Saturday.
  • A woman on San Pedro Way told deputies on Saturday that she loaned her vehicle to a man on Nov. 1 and he has failed to return it.
  • A 17-year-old boy was arrested on a charge of illegal possession of a handgun by a minor near the intersection of Rufina Street and Zafarano Drive on Friday. The semiautomatic 9 mm handgun was concealed behind a speaker in the back seat.
DWI arrests
  • Theresa McCullough, 8 Emory Pass, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated at 4:32 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Agua Fría Street and Henry Lynch Road.
  • Leonel Flores-Chavez, 34, 108 Vereda de Valencia, was stopped near the intersection of North Guadalupe and West San Francisco streets at 3:32 p.m. Sunday and charged with driving with a license revoked due to a previous DWI charge.
  • Roxanne Romero, 38, 5154 Avenida de Sesario, was stopped near the intersection of San Angelo and San Luis streets about 8 p.m. Sunday and charged with driving with a license revoked because of a previous DWI charge.
  • Ivan Gabaldon, 1506 1/2 Agua Fría St., was arrested in the 200 block of Rosario Boulevard at 4:30 p.m. Sunday on a warrant charging he had violated the terms of his probation from a previous DWI charge.
  • Catana Lopez, 33, was arrested Sunday on a charge of DWI after she was stopped for allegedly failing to stay in her lane of traffic on Rodeo Road. Her blood alcohol content tested at .14.
  • Anthony Vigil, 24, was arrested Saturday on a charge of DWI after he was stopped on N.M. 14 for allegedly failing to stay in his lane. His blood alcohol content tested at .12.
  • Andres Alvidres-Gutierres, 36, was arrested on a charge of DWI after a deputy responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of Calle Lazo Errante on Saturday. His blood alcohol content tested at .12.
