The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:

• Rosalinda Hurtado, 33, no address given, was arrested and charged with shoplifting after she allegedly was caught leaving Sears, 4250 Cerrillos Road, with more than $80 in merchandise at around 1 p.m. Tuesday.

• Ernestina Muniz, 41, 7512 Sagebrush Road, was arrested and charged with shoplifting $100 in hair products from Sally Beauty Supply, 2010 Cerrillos Road, at around 1:27 p.m. Tuesday.

• A flat-screen TV, an Xbox 360 video-game console, a Wii video-game console and $80 in coins were stolen from an apartment in the 1200 block of Vegas Verdes Drive between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

• Someone in a 2005 silver Cadillac told a customer outside the Walmart Supercenter, 5801 Herrera Drive, that he was going to "shoot and kill her" before driving away at around 5 p.m. Tuesday.

• Someone removed a screw from a shed and attempted to steal a bicycle from inside it in the 1300 block of Santa Rosa Drive between 3 and 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:

• Someone stole a laptop computer from an apartment in the 3900 block of Camino Juliana between 3:30 and 6:15 p.m. Tuesday after breaking in through a glass sliding door.

• Miscellaneous jewelry was stolen from a house off Valle Romero between 6:40 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday.

DWI arrests


• Saira Lopez, 28, 1120 Avenida Codorniz, was arrested by Santa Fe police and charged with DWI and child abuse after being pulled over off Paseo de Vista with a 3-year-old child in her car at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

• Amy Finlayson, 35, 4664 Camino Cuervo, was arrested by Santa Fe police and charged with DWI after she failed to stop and signal a turn at a stop sign near Paseo del Sol and Plaza Central at about 2:05 a.m. Wednesday, according to a police report.

Speed SUVs

• The Santa Fe Police Department listed the following locations for mobile speed-enforcement vehicles: SUV No. 1 at E.J. Martinez Elementary School from 7:25 to 8:15 a.m. and 2:10 to 2:55 p.m. and on West San Mateo Road between Galisteo Street and St. Francis Drive at other times; SUV No. 2 at Don Gaspar Avenue between Cordova Road and Paseo de Peralta.
