Jamie, 25, and Mark, 34, are the parents of a 3-year-old and a 9-month-old baby. The couple have been managing their household on Mark's salary while Jamie stays home to care for the children. Recently, however, Mark was involved in a motorcycle crash, sustaining injuries that made him unable to work. He lost his job.

Mark hopes to be recovered enough to return to work by the end of December. At the time of the motorcycle wreck, the couple's bills were paid up. But they are facing at least a month without any income and no way to pay December's rent, utilities and other bills.

Although Mark also owes more than $17,000 in medical bills related to his injuries, he is most concerned right now about keeping his family members in their home until he can get back to work. He and Jamie are asking for any assistance they can get. Case no. PMS-08-0029.
