Karla, 37, recently got a new job after being unemployed for the last three months, but she fell behind on her bills during that time. As she plays catch-up, her property-tax bill, which totals $3,766.53, might not get paid.
She is asking for the Empty Stocking Fund to help her pay it. She is the mother of three sons, ages 20, 5 and 3. Case No. PMS-09-0009.
