Jocelyn, 53, has been working out a deal with her landlord after falling behind on her rent. She will be moving into a new apartment come January and she wants to pay the back rent to her landlord before she leaves.

Jocelyn is disabled, afflicted with diabetes, arthritis, clinical depression and hypertension. She receives cash assistance from the state of New Mexico and Social Security disability, but since she's unable to work, it wasn't enough to pay the bills. She is asking the Empty Stocking Fund for $1,100 to pay back rent. Case No. PMS-09-0112.
