Several meals, receptions and parties are planned for New Mexico's delegation to the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Most of them are sponsored by corporations and other business interests. Among those on the official schedule:

Today

Convention welcome celebration, Convention Center

New Mexico chairman's welcome, Union Station, hosted by Union Pacific Railroad

Late night reception, Churchill's in The Brown Palace Hotel, hosted by state Democratic Party chairman Brian Colón.

Monday

Delegation breakfast, Crowne Plaza hotel, hosted by The Williams Cos.

Delegation lunch, Maggiano's Little Italy, hosted by Zamora Strategic Advisors, RBC Dain Rauscher, New Mexico Oil & Gas Association, IATSE (film and television technicians union) Local #480.a

Reception honoring Gov. Bill Richardson, the swimming pool at Crowne Plaza hotel, hosted by the International Association for Firefighters and American Benefits Consulting.

Tuesday

Delegation breakfast, Crowne Plaza hotel, hosted by Mesa del Sol & Verizon

Delegation lunch, Nine75, hosted by ConocoPhillips

Wednesday

Delegate breakfast, Crowne Plaza hotel, hosted by Qwest

Delegation lunch, Union Station Rail Car, hosted by BNSF

Reception, Coors Field/RocHenge Skybox Suite, hosted by labor unions and Veterans United for America

Reception, LODO'S at 1946 Market, hosted by Credit Union Association of New Mexico

Thursday

Delegation breakfast, Crowne Plaza hotel, hosted by T. Boone Pickens and Intel

Delegation lunch, Samba Room at Larimer Square, hosted by Fidelity Investments
