To look younger and healthier, we need to wake up our skin and that means not using some of the products we are overusing and misusing now. Emotional Freedom Now! with Dr. Judith Orloff
7:30 a.m. Dec. 5
This program provides positive, life-changing, easy-to- practice tools to help people transform frustration, worry, and stress into hope, compassion, courage, and calm. Dr. Orloff shows how each day presents opportunities for us to be heroes in our own lives-to turn away from negativity, react constructively and seize command of any situation. Viewers will learn how to: stay protected from those who surround you with negative energy; set kind but firm limits with difficult people; manage loss and disappointment or rejection; and, access the power of sleep and dreams We do this by developing compassion for how we treat ourselves and others, and by developing the courage to stay positive, calm and hopeful. Practicing Emotional Freedom's tools will transform people's lives by empowering them to keep things more in perspective, lower their stress levels, and be able to choose a positive, solution-oriented attitude in all situations.
Emotional Freedom Now! is a fundamental living skill. It is the state of being in which positive feelings are cultivated, and negative emotions — stress, frustration, anger — are transformed by understanding how to make the choice to constructively react to difficult situations, rather than lose command of the situation. Whether it's being stuck in traffic, running late for an appointment, losing patience with your spouse or parent — Dr. Orloff presents an inspiring way to understand yourself, and move towards greater happiness and peace. Judith Orloff, M.D. is a Board-certified psychiatrist, and Assistant Clinical Professor of psychiatry at UCLA. She is also the author of the best-selling books Positive Energy, Guide to Intuitive Healing, and Second Sight. Her newest book, Emotional Freedom, released by Random House in March, 2009, is the basis of this new public television special.
