Orienteering
Orienteering is an international outdoor sport played by teams and individuals of all ages in scenic locations around the world. The sport is popular with runners, adventure racers, scouts, families, and outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds. New Mexico Orienteers hosts orienteering meets throughout the year, in Los Alamos, Santa Fe National Forest, Valles Caldera National Preserve, Aubuquerque, and the Sandias. Meet fees vary by location but usually are under $10 per person. NMO hosts free or at cost training classes to improve your orienteering skills.
