This charming cardboard book may look like it's been designed to read to these sophisticated tots, but it's really aimed at their doting parents and grandparents. Written by Michelle Sinclair Colman, illustrated by Nathalie Dion and published earlier this year by Tricycle Press — the seventh in a series that started with Urban Babies Wear Black — the depictions of round-faced babies, lithe mommas and the occasional dad offer a tongue-in-cheek commentary on what happens when food-obsessed sophisticates encounter parenthood.

At $6.95, it's a great stocking stuffer for foodie parents — whether they wear bibs or not.
