A cable television network dedicated to programs about movies is relocating its corporate headquarters to Albuquerque.

ReelzChannel's chairman and chief executive officer, Stan Hubbard, says the move will occur early this year.

The ReelzChannel network launched in September 2006 is owned by Hubbard Media Group. Its headquarters currently are in Minneapolis-St. Paul with programming, production and promotion in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago.

Albuquerque will be the site for programming, production, creative services, marketing and communications. Advertising sales will remain in New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles. A Los Angeles bureau will be created to cover major entertainment and movie stories and events.
