Credit union opens second branch

New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union will open a new free-standing branch office today to serve its growing membership in Santa Fe.

The new branch is at 1710
St. Michael's Drive, east of Llano Street. The facility will offer drive-up teller service plus a 24-hour drive-up ATM with imaging technology that accepts deposits without an envelope. The branch will offer lobby and drive-up service Monday through Saturday.

A grand opening celebration is scheduled Oct. 23 and 24.

Santé Fitness Studio expands

Santé Fitness Studio, owned by Jackie Camborde, has opened a second Santa Fe location. Santé Southside is at 6001 Jaguar Drive, at the corner of Jaguar and Avenida Contenta in the Plaza Contenta Shopping Center. The studio offers 15 classes a week, including yoga, Pilates, strength and core training and Zumba.

Santé's Eldorado site in the Agora Shopping Center has been in business for nearly 10 years.

San Isidro Village apartments open

Branch Design and Development and the New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority have announced the grand opening of The Villas de San Ignacio in the master-planned community of San Isidro Village in Santa Fe.

The $14.8 million project will be available to tenants whose annual income is between $33,000 and $39,600 for a family of four. According to census data, more than a third of all Santa Fe County residents would qualify to live in the apartments.

MFA provided more than $5 million in funding for the project using low-income housing tax credit proceeds and federal programs.

Santa Fe Pens will hold its second fall pen event at Sanbusco Market Center on Saturday.

Stipula and Retro 1951 pen company representatives will be in the store from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to showcase their latest in writing instruments.

Additionally, Retro 1951 will also have a representative on hand to showcase new products for the holiday season.
