Video Library is moving this week from 120 E. Marcy St. to the Harvey Building at 839 Paseo de Peralta.

The move starts today and should take two days, said Lisa Harris, co-owner of the business with Casey St. Charnez. Part of the move will be made with a horse trailer.

Video Library will reopen in the new digs, which has much more parking than the old store, on Friday.

What's going to happen to the economy in 2010?

Is recovery on the way or will things get worse?

"Economics 2010: Up, Down or Sideways" is a the name of a workshop to be held Thursday at the Prairie Star restaurant in Bernalillo that will attempt to answer those question.

Economist Arnold Baker of Sandia National Laboratories and professor Larry Waldman of The University of New Mexico's Bureau of Business and Economic Research will share insights and provide a local perspective on the trends that will influence New Mexico, the U.S. and global economies.

The event starts at 6 p.m. with networking and hors d'oeuvres.

The cost is $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

The Curves in Santa Fe has joined other Curves facilities throughout the world this month in a company-wide campaign called Stronger + Together, an international movement to make 1 million women healthier in 2010. The Zia Diner has started a new donations program. Beginning Feb. 2 and continuing through 2010, the restaurant will donate 10 percent of its Tuesday profits to a different local nonprofit organization.
