After a break, Ze French Bistro will reopen for business Wednesday and start serving dinner Thursday.

Dinner will be served 5:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday to Sunday. The restaurant also serves breakfast and lunch every day but Tuesday.

The restaurant is at 311 Old Santa Fe Trail, adjacent to Garrett's Desert Inn, and is owned by Vanessa and Stephane Soquiere.

The dinner menu offers two courses for $23 and three courses for $31. With one course, the price is $8 for appetizers, $20 for entrees and $8 for desserts.

Appetizers include a traditional soupe a l'oignon gratinée, lobster bisque, escargot and tuna and salmon tartar.

Entrees include baked Atlantic salmon, seared duck breast and grilled flat iron steak.

Bread pudding is on the dessert menu, along with a chocolate fondant and a warm strawberry and rhubarb crumble.

The San Miguel County Commission has received a check for $500,000 from the United State Department of Agriculture Rural Development to build a new building on county land.

The 20,000-square-foot building will be an economic development incubator that will house a woodworking manufacturing facility, Old Wood Inc.

David Wood, the owner of the business, has eight employees and makes custom wood floors that have been installed all over the U.S. and around the world.

The Santa Fe Railyard Community Corporation Board has announced the election of four new members to two-year terms. They join 13 current members on the board.

The new members are Ouida MacGregor, Al S. Romero, Frank Romero and Lleta Scoggins.

Leadership New Mexico is accepting applications for the 2010-2011 Core Program and Connect New Mexico Program. Applications are available on the Leadership New Mexico Web site, www.leadershipnm.org or by calling 505-241-4800. Deadline for submission is March 15.

The Leadership New Mexico Core Program is a 10-month program designed to identify, teach and challenge established leaders of the state with a curriculum that addresses critical issues affecting New Mexico.

Leadership New Mexico seeks to create a class with a wide geographic base and diverse backgrounds and business sectors. The programs are open to all citizens of the state and the organization will select 40-45 participants for the 2010-2011 programs.
